For those looking for spicy chicken anything, this place has you covered, ranging from none at all to burn in your mouth lava hot. The chicken itself is cooked nice and juicy, not dry at all. Perfect for friends and a group of 4, any bigger, and you're starting to split tables.
The food here is absolutely amazing and the people working there are awesome. We had Katy helping us with stuff and she was super sweet and while I don't remember the other name she gave me for the other workers they all did an amazing job. Highly recommend especially if you like spicy foods. I personally had the chicken and waffles and I can't wait to go back and have it again.
BEST chicken! Marinated and seasoned so well, it doesn't need anything else. But the Hangry Sauce!? AWESOMENESS. The spicy? Pure Joy. The sandwich? Massive. Coolest place in San Marcos!

It was our first time but definitely won't be our last. The staff was very friendly and informative of the different spice levels. Everything we ordered was fresh and delicious I got the 3 piece finger combo (medium) and my husband got the Korean nugs. Both were very spicy but still enjoyable. The rice was cooked perfectly and helped to cool the heat. We will be back again soon!

First time visiting Hangry Joe's. We were looking for a chicken restaurant and we found it by chance. I'm so glad we did. We ordered online for pickup. Fyi, when we ordered, the website said it was a 45-minute wait time, but it was actually ready in 15 minutes. Overall, it's very good chicken. The food was very fresh even though we picked up the order and drove 10 minutes to our son's apartment. We will definitely return! Fyi, spice Level range from mild to extremely hot: 1. No Seasoning 2. No Heat 3. Mild 4. Medium 5. Hot (This is what we got) 6. Angry Hot (waiver needed)
